Terms and conditions

• "GEO-Crafter": the website geocrafter.nl and the services offered on it, an initiative of iPeople (Dutch Chamber of Commerce no. 52880303), established in Haarlem, the Netherlands.
• "User": any person or organisation that uses the services of GEO-Crafter.
• "Service": measuring and reporting the visibility of a brand or domain in the answers of AI assistants, including the free scan, the paid scan and the monitoring.

These terms apply to every use of GEO-Crafter.

By using GEO-Crafter, the User accepts these terms.

Business use only. GEO-Crafter is offered exclusively to persons and organisations that enter into the agreement for purposes within their trade, business or profession. When subscribing you declare that you are acting in a business capacity, that the company details provided are correct and that you are authorised to represent the company. We do not accept agreements with consumers. Statutory consumer rules do not apply only where you are in fact acting within your trade, business or profession.

If it turns out that incorrect or misleading company details were provided, we may refuse the order or terminate the agreement. This does not affect any rights that apply regardless under mandatory law.

On behalf of the User, GEO-Crafter puts buyer-oriented questions to major AI assistants (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity) and analyses the answers for brand mentions. The User receives a report showing whether and how the brand is mentioned, which competitors appear, and what is needed to be mentioned more often.

Access to GEO-Crafter is by invitation during this phase. One free scan is available per verified email address; larger scans and monitoring are part of the paid service.

To use GEO-Crafter, the User creates an account. The User is responsible for keeping the login details confidential and for all actions carried out through the account.

The User warrants that they are entitled to have the domain they provide analysed.

GEO-Crafter is a measuring instrument. We measure actual AI answers at the moment of the scan.

AI answers change continuously and differ per assistant, per question and per moment. A report is therefore a snapshot. GEO-Crafter gives no guarantee that a brand will appear in AI answers, that it will hold a particular position, or that a result will remain the same in the future.

The recommendations and scores in the report are indicative and do not constitute marketing, legal or other professional advice. The User remains responsible for decisions taken on the basis of the report.

You can report questions and malfunctions at [email protected]. We aim to give a first substantive response within two working days. Priority support applies to the Premium plan: your report is handled with priority and we aim to give a first substantive response within one working day of receipt. By working day we mean Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays generally recognised in the Netherlands. These are target times for a first response, not a guaranteed resolution time. These target times do not limit your statutory rights in the event of a failure in the service.

Complaints. If you are not satisfied, please let us know at the same address. We confirm receipt within two working days and aim to respond substantively within ten working days.

The free scan is free of charge. Paid functionality is part of a paid plan with a monthly subscription.

Prices. The prices stated on the website are in euros and exclusive of VAT. For businesses within the EU holding a valid VAT number, the reverse charge arrangement applies. The VAT due is shown at checkout.

Payment and invoicing. Payment is processed through our payment service provider Stripe. The subscription is charged monthly in advance and is tacitly renewed by one month at a time until you cancel. You receive an invoice by email for each billing period.

Changes and cancellation. You manage your subscription yourself through the secure customer portal, reachable from your settings. An upgrade takes effect immediately and the price difference is settled pro rata. A downgrade or cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; until then you keep the functionality of your current plan. Amounts already paid are not refunded.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices in view of developments in our costs, functionality, service provision or applicable legislation. We inform you by email at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies no earlier than from the first renewal on or after the announced effective date. If you do not agree with the change, you may cancel before that date.

Non-payment. If a payment fails, we inform you and attempt to collect the payment again in accordance with our payment procedure. For as long as payment is not made, we may limit the paid functionality or terminate the agreement. Where reasonable, we first give you the opportunity to resolve the payment problem.

The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies to consumers. If you enter into the agreement for purposes within your trade, business or profession, that right of withdrawal does not apply. GEO-Crafter accepts only such business agreements. You can, however, cancel the subscription with effect from the end of the current billing period, as described in the payment terms. If you would first like to experience what the service does without obligation, use the free scan.

GEO-Crafter makes every effort to carry out the measurements carefully, but cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of AI answers; after all, these are generated by third-party AI assistants.

GEO-Crafter is not liable for decisions the User takes on the basis of a report, nor for damage arising from use of the service, except where the damage results from intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of GEO-Crafter.

In so far as GEO-Crafter is liable, that liability is limited to the amount the User paid for the service in the period concerned.

These limitations and exclusions do not apply to damage caused by intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of GEO-Crafter, to damage from death or personal injury, to liability under mandatory law (including the GDPR and data breaches), and they do not limit the mandatory rights to which a User is entitled as a consumer.

All rights to the software, texts, reports and design of GEO-Crafter rest with iPeople. The User obtains a limited, personal, non-transferable right of use.

The User may use the reports for their own organisation, but may not resell them or reuse them commercially without our permission.

Our privacy statement applies to the use of GEO-Crafter.

GEO-Crafter may amend these terms. The most recent version is always available at geocrafter.nl/terms; the date at the top indicates when it was last updated.

In the event of a material change that affects you as a registered user, we inform you in advance (for example by email or a notification in the app) allowing a reasonable period before the change takes effect. If you continue to use the service after that date, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, you can stop using the service and have your account deleted.

These terms are governed by Dutch law.

Disputes are submitted to the court having jurisdiction by law.
